Here’s a bit of fun…
Comes from watching Curious George with my daughter so often.
Parenting skills I learned from the man in the yellow hat:
1. Leave kid in apartment all day with full access to various crafting supplies and expect him/her to clean it all up when done – or, even more probable, expect him/her not to get into trouble.
2. Always employ kites/hang-gliders on rescue missions.
3. Always employ lots of patience. Especially when the apartment is a disaster at the end of the day.
4. Tell him/her not to be too curious and he/she will obviously comply.
Joking aside, I love these books, movies and, yes, even the annoying PBS version of George. H.A. Rey was a genius.
